Prep- mesoestetic® hydra milk cleanser backbar

1. Cleanse the skin with mesoestetic® hydra milk cleanser backbar using

circular motions, and remove cleanser with warm water using facial sponges

2. Degrease the skin with mesoestetic® oil removing solution using gauze

3. Protect the mucus membranes on the face (tear ducts, nostrils, and lips) using

a mesolips protector.

Method - mesoestetic® cosmelan® 1 mask

4. With a spatula dispense ¾ of mesoestetic® cosmelan® 1 mask and apply an

even thick layer on entire face. Avoid the eye contour area.

5. Determine time on tissue according to professional recommendation. (Refer to

time on tissue chart)

6. Patient goes home with recommended masked application protocol.

EXPERT TIPS:

1. Consultation plays a huge role, professional must educate patient on

treatment protocol and home care protocol.

2. It is recommended to use at least ¾ of the jar for the initial mask application.

Save ¼ for “spot treatment” which should be done 21 days after initial mask

application.

3. During application time and after removing the mask, the patient must avoid

exposure to sources of light and heat.

4. Spritz water on face to prevent mask from cracking, without removing the

product.

5. For Asian skin types, it is recommended not to leave the mask on longer than

5 hours. These are recommended application times only.

6. Consideration should be taken in accordance to skin sensitivity, evolution of

pigment, and professional expertise with the product. 

7. Different degrees of peeling vary per patient and the integrity of the skin.

8. Provide patient with detailed home care maintenance protocol.

9. Results may vary from patient to patient.

10. Mild to moderate erythema, stinging sensation, and tightening of the

skin are to be expected after 24 to 48 hours of the cosmelan® 1 mask

application.

11. If excess stinging sensation occurs while applying cosmelan® 2 cream, this

may be adjusted.

12. After the time indicated by the professional, the patient should carefully

rinse cosmelan® 1 mask out with plenty of tepid water. Repeat as often as

required to remove the product completely.
